Meet Stephen

My name is Stephen Dissette, Investment Advisor Representative with Horter Investment Management, LLC. I am a graduate of Northwestern University and served as an officer in the United States Navy. I have 18 years of experience in the financial services industry.

As a young boy I watched my grandfather work until his final days unable to retire. My father also had to work into his 70’s. This personal experience ignited my passion and desire to help pre-retirees and retirees secure a fruitful retirement. My mission is to help clients protect, preserve, and pass on their wealth to their families through safe, low-risk investments and tax-advantaged programs. My goal is to protect your retirement accounts from losses during market volatility, provide a stream of lifetime income, reduce taxation, (including on your social security benefits, while simultaneously working to maximize your retirement), avoid probate, and provide secure estate planning methods, which includes charitable giving opportunities. I am married to a lovely woman, and the proud father of four wonderful children.
